Our mission

Bloc Note exists for one simple reason: to allow anyone to jot down an idea, a list, or a report in seconds, without creating an account or installing anything. We’re building a clear, fast, and honest digital notepad about what it does and doesn’t do.

What we do

Bloc Note is a web application in French. The editor works in your browser: your notes are saved to your device’s local storage. They do not pass through our servers, and we do not have access to them.

Our principles

• Simplicity first. Every feature should save time, not take it up.
• True confidentiality. We do not collect the content of your notes. We collect only the bare minimum necessary to operate the site.
• Transparency. We explain the limitations (no synchronization, risk of loss if the browser is emptied) instead of hiding them.
• Accessibility. Keyboard navigation, labels for screen readers, readable themes, respect for animation preferences.
• No targeted advertising in the editor nor resale of data.

How we improve the product

We take into account the feedback received via our contact page . Important changes (privacy, storage, terms and conditions) are announced on these pages with an update date.
